Merlot Rubicone IGT from Brusa has an immediate, pleasant character: it shows a medium ruby color and aromas that recall ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, with barely spicy hints and delicate herbaceous nuances. The first impression is soft but not trivial; the balance between the fruity body and a fresh acidity makes the sip immediate and easy-drinking, suitable both for enjoying on its own and at the table.

On the palate it displays polished tannins and a velvety texture that supports the palate without weighing it down; the persistence is pleasant, with fruity returns and a clean finish. It’s a well-made everyday Merlot that pairs with cured meats, rustic first courses and grilled white meats, as well as medium-aged cheeses. Serve slightly chilled to enhance its freshness and fully enjoy its convivial drinkability.
