The Passerina IGT BIO from Numa is a white wine made from Passerina grapes grown under organic farming rules. It reflects a natural, environmentally respectful approach aimed at highlighting the varietal character without invasive interventions. In bottle it retains freshness and lightness, qualities typical of Passerina, and is suited to everyday, informal drinking.

On the nose there are delicate notes of white flowers, white peach and citrus, accompanied by a subtle minerality; on the palate it shows a balance of freshness and sapidity, with a slim body and a clean finish. It works well as an aperitif or with simple fish dishes, salads, light starters and summer cuisine; serve chilled but not too cold to appreciate the aromas. It also pairs nicely with grilled vegetables, baked fish and fresh soft cheeses. Suitable for consumers mindful of sustainability.

The estate was started by Pier Francesco Liberi in 2016 by taking over his grandfather Nucci Marcello's vineyards; the cellar on the estate was built in 2019.

Terroir and vineyards
Ripatransone (Ascoli Piceno, Marche). Family vineyards of about 15 hectares; hilly sites at ~250 m a.s.l., a few kilometres from the sea; soils with clay and stones/sandy components.
