The Petit Verdot of Mandrarossa, coming from the renowned Timperosse estate in Sicily, expresses with vigor and character the potential of this grape variety often used in blends. The grapes, grown in a Mediterranean-origin territory with a warm and sunny climate, provide an intense structure and unique aromatic depth. After careful fermentation, the wine ages in selected wooden barrels, which impart elegant complexity and softness. On the nose, it opens with notes of ripe forest fruits, plums, and slight spicy hints, while on the palate it shows round tannins and a balance between freshness and persistence. Perfect to accompany rich dishes such as grilled red meats or aged cheeses, this Petit Verdot represents a significant example of how the grape variety can express itself in a modern and refined way in the Sicilian territory. An engaging tasting experience for lovers of structured and vibrant reds.
