Pairing Roasts, game, strong/spicy cheeses
Pinot Nero Riserva Maglen Alto Adige DOC from Tramin presents with elegance and restraint, a measured expression of the variety in the Alto Adige region. On the nose it offers a nuanced profile of ripe red fruits, cherry and raspberry, accompanied by light spicy and forest-floor notes that add depth without weighing it down. On the palate it shows a harmonious structure, fine tannins and lively acidity that keep the sip fresh and lifted, with a persistent finish inviting a second taste.

It pairs well with red meat dishes, roasts and game in a balanced way, but can also support flavourful preparations with mushrooms and matured cheeses. I recommend serving it at around 16–18 °C and, if possible, opening it a little beforehand to let it breathe; it suits both relatively immediate consumption and short cellaring for those seeking additional complexity. Ideal for those looking for a Pinot Nero with character that combines finesse and presence.
