Primo Bianco Vermentino di Sardegna DOC from Mesa highlights the lively character of Vermentino: clean aromas of citrus, white flowers and a subtle Mediterranean herbal note that accompanies without weighing it down. On the palate it is fresh and easy-drinking, with a good balance between acidity and savoriness that supports the fruit; the body is medium, the softness measured, and a pleasantly saline persistence gives a dry, distinctive finish. The overall impression is one of simple elegance, without excess, designed for everyday drinking but with personality.

It works well as an aperitif and naturally complements seafood dishes: raw preparations, carpaccios, grilled fish and first courses featuring shellfish, as well as fresh cheeses and more substantial salads. Serve chilled, around 8-10 °C, to showcase its freshness; it is especially appreciated during the warm season, when the aromatic profile is more fragrant, but remains sufficiently balanced to support savory dishes.

Winery history
Masi's history is rooted in Valpolicella Classica. A historic family-owned estate, it has developed and enhanced the wines from dried grapes typical of the region. During the 20th century the company helped popularize practices such as ripasso and launched oenological research and experimentation to refine the appassimento technique and the quality of its Amarone and its high-end bottlings.
Production philosophy
It combines respect for local traditions and indigenous grape varieties with research and innovation in winemaking and in the appassimento process. The approach aims to express the Valpolicella territory through careful grape selection, the practice of appassimento and targeted oenological experimentation focused on quality improvement.
Terroir and vineyards
It operates mainly in the Valpolicella Classica, in the province of Verona. The wines are closely linked to the local grape varieties and the area's traditional practices, particularly to typical wines such as Amarone, Recioto and Valpolicella Ripasso.
