From the renowned region of Puglia comes Kebir by Torrevento, a red wine that expertly blends two grape varieties: Nero di Troia and Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination offers an excellent union that reflects the merger of tradition and innovation, a distinctive characteristic of the Torrevento winery.

Kebir presents itself with a deep and vibrant ruby red color, hinting at the rich aromatic bouquet to be discovered. On the nose, intense notes of ripe red fruits, such as plums and cherries, are enriched with spicy nuances and slight accents of tobacco and dark chocolate, the result of excellent maturation in barrique.

On the palate, Nero di Troia provides structure and body, while Cabernet Sauvignon offers the wine remarkable freshness and persistence, with well-integrated tannins that make each sip pleasantly harmonious. The aftertaste reveals a pleasant trail of spices and ripe fruit, supported by a fine acidity that ensures good longevity.

Ideal to serve with rich and structured dishes, such as meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses, Kebir also proves to be an excellent companion for convivial moments and elegant dinners.

A wine that not only tells the story of a territory but also the meeting of two international grape varieties, masterfully interpreted by the Torrevento winery, to be savored on occasions that call for a glass of character and distinction.

It manages an extensive vineyard area in Puglia, approximately 630 hectares. Sustainability-oriented approach with certifications and industry recognition. A varied regional portfolio: Castel del Monte, Primitivo and Salento areas.
Winery history
The company's history begins with the Liantonio family. In the post-war period—after the purchase of the ancient monastery in Contrada Torre del Vento—the company began to develop its production; from the 1990s it achieved commercial recognition and promoted the Nero di Troia grape with flagship labels such as Vigna Pedale. Company and industry sources cite key milestones linked to the return from migration, the 1948 acquisition of the tenuta and the entrepreneurial growth of the following decades.
Production philosophy
It combines tradition and innovation to enhance Puglia's indigenous grape varieties, focusing on sustainable practices in both the vineyard and the winery. The company declares its commitment to environmental, economic and ethical-social sustainability and adopts certifications and standards for quality and food safety.
Terroir and vineyards
Operating in the Alta Murgia at the foot of the UNESCO site Castel del Monte, it sources its grapes from three main areas of Puglia: the Castel del Monte area, the Primitivo/central area and southern Salento.
Awards and recognitions
The winery's labels have been honored with significant awards: Vigna Pedale has received, among others, the Tre Bicchieri award and international medals. The winery has also received a Gambero Rosso award for sustainable viticulture.
