Descrizione

The Ravera Barolo DOCG 2022 from Poderi Luigi Einaudi presents an incisive yet refined profile: in the glass it shows a ruby color with garnet highlights and a bouquet that alternates ripe red fruit with floral hints of rose and small dried flowers, followed by earthy nuances, light graphite notes and delicate spices. On the palate it is solid, supported by a well-defined tannic weave and a freshness that enlivens its structure; the body is elegant rather than opulent, with a persistence that reveals the balance between acidic tension and tannic texture. At the table it finds a place alongside characterful dishes: braises, roasted red meats, game and aged cheeses pair well with its controlled power.

It is advisable to let the bottle rest in a decanter if served young, to soften its tannic closure; over time a greater aromatic complexity can be appreciated. Serve at around 18 °C to capture its balance and development.

Winery history

The winery originated from the agricultural activities initiated by Luigi Einaudi. The family progressively expanded the property and the vineyards, passing management through several generations to the current leadership of Matteo Sardagna Einaudi. The estate retains a strong historical identity tied to the promotion of the wines of the Langhe and preserves documentation that records the property's origins and subsequent developments.
