Renosu Rosso by Dettori is a wine that elegantly tells the heart of Sardinia, produced in the renowned area of Alghero. Obtained mainly from the Cannonau grape variety, a symbol of the territory, this red stands out for its deep ruby color and an aromatic bouquet rich in scents of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and earthy hints. The aging in wooden barrels enhances a soft yet well-balanced structure, giving each sip a pleasant persistence and complexity. On the palate, enveloping tannins and a freshness stand out, making the wine versatile in pairings, ideal with grilled meats, aged cheeses, and Mediterranean cuisine dishes. Renosu Rosso fully represents the territoriality and winemaking tradition of Dettori, a sensory experience that blends the character of Cannonau with expert artisanal care.

Winery history
The Dettori family has cultivated the land and produced wine for generations. Sales in demijohns continued until 1981, when Paolo began bottling part of the production. The modern project now known as Tenute Dettori was presented under the heading "1996 – Vignaioli Artigiani del vino e della Terra in Badde Nigolosu." The estate has progressively promoted the pure vinification of ancient local clones and the enhancement of the Badde Nigolosu cru.
Production philosophy
Artisanal agricultural work and minimal cellar intervention: biodynamic farming, hand harvesting, cluster selection, natural macerations and aging exclusively in concrete to express the terroir without the systematic use of wood or additives.
Terroir and vineyards
Badde Nigolosu, a natural amphitheatre in the Romangia del Logudoro. Vines are bush-trained at approximately 250–300 m above sea level, with views over the Gulf of Asinara and protected areas of Mediterranean maquis.
