Winery history Tenute Dettori

The Dettori family has cultivated the land and produced wine for generations. Sales in demijohns continued until 1981, when Paolo began bottling part of the production. The modern project now known as Tenute Dettori was presented under the heading "1996 – Vignaioli Artigiani del vino e della Terra in Badde Nigolosu." The estate has progressively promoted the pure vinification of ancient local clones and the enhancement of the Badde Nigolosu cru.

Production philosophy

Artisanal agricultural work and minimal cellar intervention: biodynamic farming, hand harvesting, cluster selection, natural macerations and aging exclusively in concrete to express the terroir without the systematic use of wood or additives.

Terroir and vineyards

Badde Nigolosu, a natural amphitheatre in the Romangia del Logudoro. Vines are bush-trained at approximately 250–300 m above sea level, with views over the Gulf of Asinara and protected areas of Mediterranean maquis.
