Romangia IGT - Tuderi - Dettori is a wine born in the heart of Sardinia, a land that expresses tradition and character in every aspect of its winemaking. This red mainly features the Cannonau grape variety, a true island emblem, softened by careful aging that enhances its structure and intensity. The result is a wine with a vivid ruby color, deep aromas of ripe wild berries, earthy notes, and a touch of Mediterranean spices that linger on the nose and palate.

On the palate, it presents itself as full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and an elegant balance between freshness and warmth. The wood used during aging imparts softness without ever overpowering the varietal identity. Ideal paired with game dishes, grilled red meats, and aged cheeses, Romangia IGT reveals itself as the authentic expression of Sardinian winemaking tradition, capable of moving with its authenticity and complexity.

Region: Sardegna
Country: Italia
Founded: 1996
Grapes: Cannonau (clone Retagliadu Nieddu), Vermentino, Moscato di Sorso-Sennori, Monica, Pascale
Cru: Badde Nigolosu, single-vineyard wines Exclusively vinified in concrete tanks. Biodynamic practices and a natural approach Goblet-trained vines at 250–300 m above sea level. Indigenous grape varieties, with particular focus on the local Cannonau clone.
Winery history
The Dettori family has cultivated the land and produced wine for generations. Sales in demijohns continued until 1981, when Paolo began bottling part of the production. The modern project now known as Tenute Dettori was presented under the heading "1996 – Vignaioli Artigiani del vino e della Terra in Badde Nigolosu." The estate has progressively promoted the pure vinification of ancient local clones and the enhancement of the Badde Nigolosu cru.
Production philosophy
Artisanal agricultural work and minimal cellar intervention: biodynamic farming, hand harvesting, cluster selection, natural macerations and aging exclusively in concrete to express the terroir without the systematic use of wood or additives.
Terroir and vineyards
Badde Nigolosu, a natural amphitheatre in the Romangia del Logudoro. Vines are bush-trained at approximately 250–300 m above sea level, with views over the Gulf of Asinara and protected areas of Mediterranean maquis.
