Arneis is one of the oldest Piedmontese white grape varieties, originally from Roero where it has been grown at least since the 16th century. The grapes, with medium-small berries and compact bunches, produce little and ripen in the second half of September.
The "ReCit" is a very didactic example of Roero Arneis, an assemblage of several vineyards located in different areas of the Roero, which allow the typical characteristics of the vine linked to the various types of soil to be fully expressed. ReCit in Piedmontese dialect means "little king" because we believe that Arneis deserves a place of honor among the native Italian vines. The vinification is done entirely in steel.
In the glass it has a brilliant and intense straw yellow color. On the nose it stands out for its fragrant bouquet of ripe fruit such as peach and pear, enriched with notes reminiscent of almond. At the sip it is a sensorial ecstasy; the wine enters voluminous and bold, rich in soft and sensual tactile sensations, to continue enveloping and dense, well balanced and harmonious, with a nice dry and full finish.
It is a fragrant Roero Arneis, characterized by a long and balanced acidity, well supported by a rich body and structure. THEideal for an aperitif and appetizers in general, seafood salads, sushi, vegetables and first courses served with delicate sauces. Its remarkable structure makes it therefore well suited to accompany the entire meal and an excellent wine to give as a gift or to serve on any occasion.
