The Rosazzo DOCG Abbazia from Livio Felluga is a white wine that presents itself with delicacy and restraint. On the nose it shows hints of white flowers, citrus peel and light notes of white-fleshed fruit; the aromatic profile remains clear and measured without excess. On the palate it displays lively freshness balanced by a modest body, with a structure that supports the drinking and an elegant progression. The finish leans toward a pleasant sapidity that invites another sip. It proves agreeable even when first opened.

It suits a seafood table but is also versatile with vegetable dishes, delicate poultry and fresh cheeses. Excellent with fish starters, shellfish and light first courses; it can accompany more complex dishes provided they do not overwhelm its subtlety. A moderate serving temperature (8–12 °C) brings out its aromas; recommended for those seeking a balanced, ready-to-drink white.

Winery history
Founded by Livio Felluga in 1956 after the post‑war rebuilding; Livio is regarded as the 'patriarch' of Friulian winemaking (he died in the night between Dec 21–22, 2016). The estate is family‑run (children Maurizio, Filippo, Elda and Andrea). The wine 'Illivio' was created by his children in 1998 and dedicated to him for his 85th birthday.
Production philosophy
Terroir-focused approach: careful vineyard work, respect for the territory (Rosazzo) and pursuit of quality. The 'Carta Geografica' serves as a manifesto of regional identity; wines are elegant, age-worthy and strongly expressive of place.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the Rosazzo ridge and in the Colli Orientali del Friuli (province of Gorizia). Soils listed in technical sheets: marl and sandstone flysch of Eocene origin.
Awards and recognitions
