The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Modigliana V.Probi from Villa Papiano is an organic red that frankly expresses the character of the grape and the area. With a clear ruby colour, it opens with aromas of small red fruits like cherry and raspberry, floral hints and slight herbaceous notes; on the palate it shows freshness, balanced acidity and present but restrained tannins, without aggressiveness. The olfactory and taste profile is straightforward and recognisable, aimed at those seeking an authentic, versatile Sangiovese.

It pairs easily with traditional dishes: pasta with sauce, cured meats, white meats and medium‑aged cheeses, as well as preparations with mushrooms or grilled vegetables. Serve at a moderate temperature, with a short period of aeration if you wish to soften younger profiles. Produced from organic farming, it presents a sober and transparent option for buyers who prioritise controlled wines with a candid character, suitable for consumption in the short to medium term.
