Born in the heart of Veneto, the Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut Corallo of Fongaro embodies the elegance and precision typical of the local tradition. This wine stands out for its production with the classical method, which involves a second fermentation in the bottle, giving a very fine and persistent perlage.

Corallo expresses itself with a refined bouquet, intertwining delicate notes of bread crust, green apple, and a fresh minerality, the result of the unique terroir of the area's hills. On the palate, the extra brut is incisive and vibrant, with a perfect balance between acidity and creaminess, ideal for those seeking a clean and less sweet experience.

Perfect as an aperitif or accompaniment to seafood dishes, this sparkling wine enhances the conviviality of every moment, offering a fresh and absolutely versatile sip.

Winery history
Cantina Fongaro was established in Roncà in Lessinia and is reported to have been founded by Guerrino Fongaro in 1975. Over time the estate has focused on the rediscovery and promotion of the indigenous Durella grape, choosing to work almost exclusively with sparkling wines produced using the Traditional Method. Since the mid-1980s the winery has practiced organic farming and developed an artisanal production, personally overseeing every stage from the vineyard to bottling.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to the local grape variety and the terroir, with meticulous hands‑on care in both the winery and the vineyard, exclusive production using the Traditional Method, and certified organic management to reduce environmental impact and showcase the distinctive qualities of Durella.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the Monti Lessini area, on soils of volcanic origin; the winery is part of the Lessini Durello denomination and leverages the altitude and mineral-rich soils to produce Durella-based sparkling wines.
Awards and recognitions
The winery is mentioned in news and press releases for international awards; among these is a Gold Medal for the Riserva Pas Dosé.
