Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses
On the eye it shows an intense ruby color with purplish hues; on the nose, ripe red fruits and blackberry, hints of sweet spice and a touch of Mediterranean scrub that define its identity. The sip is enveloping but not heavy, with good structure and smooth tannins supporting a juicy body; the acidity keeps it fresh and lively, contributing to a pleasant persistence that invites a second taste. The balance between power and finesse makes it very enjoyable even after a few hours of decanting, when more complex nuances emerge and the profile becomes even more harmonious.

Poured at the table, Garrisa di Masseria Li Veli pairs well with characterful dishes: roasted red meats, grilled foods, hearty sauces or aged cheeses, and naturally complements the traditional cuisine of the area. Serve at around 16–18 °C to appreciate its tension and bring out the fruity notes, avoiding excessive warmth that could overpower its natural drinkability. A solid, straightforward wine with enough structure to accompany everyday conviviality and rustic dishes.
