This Taurasi DOCG 'Radici' from Mastroberardino is a red wine that focuses on concentration and structure without excess. In the glass it shows a deep ruby colour; on the nose there are sensations of ripe red fruit and small berries, accompanied by hints of spice and earthy notes. The palate is assertive, supported by compact tannins and a freshness that contributes to overall balance; the finish is long and clean, with fruity echoes that soften the wine's natural substance. The description remains cautious and based on sensory impressions, avoiding unsupported claims.

It pairs with red meats, roasts and aged cheeses, but can also be enjoyed with mushroom dishes or flavourful sauces. Gentle aeration or a short decant can help open the aromas early in the service. Recommended serving temperature around 16–18 °C. Ideal for those seeking a characterful red to drink with attention and time, while retaining the opportunity to assess its development.
