The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore "Fijo" produced by Albamocco winery is an exquisite example of Marche's vinicultural excellence, strongly recalling the traditions and quality of the territory. This wine is made from Verdicchio grapes, carefully selected and handpicked from the finest vineyards located in the classic area of Jesi, where the microclimate and clay-limestone soils help define the distinctive character of this wine.

Visually, it presents a light straw yellow color with green reflections highlighting its freshness. On the nose, Albamocco's "Fijo" offers a complex and intensely aromatic bouquet, featuring notes of white-fleshed fruits such as peach and pear, enriched by hints of white flowers and a slight touch of almond. The minerality is evident and well-integrated with the fruity aromas.

On the palate, the wine reveals a balanced profile, with lively freshness leading to a persistent and pleasantly bitter finish, typical of Verdicchio. The structure is well-defined, supported by good acidity that promises excellent aging potential.

Ideal for accompanying seafood appetizers, fish-based dishes, and grilled vegetables, the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore "Fijo" - Albamocco is also surprisingly versatile, pairing well with a variety of light cuisines and delicate flavors.

Undoubtedly, this wine represents an excellent choice for those seeking a refined and expressive white, capable of evoking the authenticity and freshness of Marche's white wines.

Winery history
The project began with a chance encounter between the owners, Alessandra Venturi and Filippo Russotto, and the Marchigian hills: after moving to the Marche they decided to dedicate themselves to viticulture, restoring local land and vineyards. Over the years they built a modern winery and, after the initial development phase, opened their production facility in Castelplanio with the support of local authorities.
