The Verdicchio di Jesi DOC Superiore "Luzano" from Marotti Campi is a white wine that favors precision and balance. In the glass it shows a bright straw-yellow color; on the nose it displays clear aromas of white flowers, citrus and green apple, with hints of almond and a mineral note that highlights its freshness. The structure feels saline and is supported by lively acidity that keeps the sip taut without being aggressive, leaving a pleasant and discreet persistence.

It is a versatile wine suited to more structured fish dishes, delicate white meats and soft cheeses; it also works well as an aperitif for those seeking a savory, fragrant profile. Serve it chilled, around 10–12 °C, in tulip-shaped glasses to bring out the aromas. For those wishing to approach this style gradually, it proves curious and measured, ideal for unhurried enjoyment.

Historic family-run estate. Specializing in Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Lacrima di Morro d'Alba. Modern winery built in 1999, employing low-impact environmental practices. Vineyards situated at around 180 m above sea level; mixed soils tending toward clay. Recognized in national and international guides.
Winery history
The estate was purchased by the Marotti family in the mid-19th century (first local documentary mention of the vineyard dates to 1886). Giovanni Marotti Campi began modernizing the vineyards in 1991 and the modern winery was built in 1999; the estate remains family-run (Giovanni, Francesca and son Lorenzo).
Production philosophy
Winemaking exclusively from estate-grown grapes; low-impact farming (no irrigation, limited treatments with low-dose products); careful temperature control in the cellar (thermo-conditioned tanks, use of dry ice and nitrogen for whites), pneumatic presses, ageing partly in barriques and energy self-sufficiency via solar panels installed in 2010.
Terroir and vineyards
Estate of about 120 hectares with 53 hectares planted to vines, located in Sant'Amico (Morro d'Alba, AN). Hilly vineyards around 180 m asl, medium-textured soils with notable clay; varied exposures. Main grapes: Lacrima and Verdicchio; small plantings of Montepulciano, Petit Verdot and Cabernet since 1999.
