The "Tre Filer" produced by the renowned Cà dei Frati winery is a sweet wine made from overripe grapes, a careful selection of grapes harvested at an advanced stage of ripeness to ensure high levels of natural sugars and intense aromas. This wine represents an excellent example of mastery in the vinification of overripe grapes and stands out for its rich and complex flavor profile.

Presented in a 375ml bottle, the "Tre Filer" displays an intense golden yellow color with amber reflections, heralding its richness. On the nose, it offers a deep aromatic bouquet characterized by notes of candied fruit, honey, dried apricot, and touches of vanilla and sweet spices, the result of meticulous fermentation and aging.

On the palate, the "Tre Filer" from Cà dei Frati reveals a balanced sweetness, supported by a fresh acidity that contributes to a long and pleasantly persistent finish. The structure of this wine is robust yet never overpowering, allowing for a smooth and elegant sip.

This wine is ideal for accompanying desserts such as fruit tarts or dry pastries, but it can also be considered an excellent meditation wine, to be savored slowly at the end of a meal.

The "Tre Filer" is a splendid example of how the Cà dei Frati winery is able to convey, through its wines, the passion and connection to the Lugana territory, enhancing the peculiarities of local grapes through winemaking techniques that respect tradition and nature.

The estate is documented as far back as 1782, and its present course took shape when Felice Dal Cero moved to Lugana di Sirmione in 1939. The Dal Cero family progressively bottled and promoted Lugana; in 1969 Pietro Dal Cero took part in the establishment of the appellation by bottling its first label. Today the estate is managed by succeeding generations of the family, who carry on production and activities tied to the local area.

Terroir and vineyards
The estate's main vineyards are concentrated in the Lugana di Sirmione area and around the tower of San Martino della Battaglia on Lake Garda; in the early 2000s the estate also acquired approximately 11 hectares in Valpolicella, where the Amarone 'Pietro Dal Cero' is produced.
