Domaine Chanson's Volnay is a representative example of the finesse and elegance that characterize Burgundy wines, in particular those produced in the Volnay appellation, famous for its high quality Pinot Noir. Domaine Chanson, one of Burgundy's historic wineries, with a tradition dating back to 1750, is renowned for producing wines that faithfully express the unique terroir of this region.

Domaine Chanson's Volnay comes from vineyards located on the hills of Volnay, where the limestone and marneux soil helps to give the wines extraordinary finesse, elegance and aging capacity. The meticulous attention in managing the vineyard, with sustainable agricultural practices, and the rigorous selection of the grapes at the time of harvest guarantee the superior quality of this Pinot Noir.

The winemaking follows traditional Burgundian methods, with delicate fermentation and aging in French oak barriques, some of which are new, for a period that varies according to the vintage, in order to enrich the wine with complexity without overwhelming the expression varietal and the character of the terroir.

Visually, the Volnay by Domaine Chanson presents itself with a delicate and bright ruby red color. On the nose, it offers an elegant and complex bouquet, with notes of red and black fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, floral accents of violet, and a subtle spiciness, evidence of the aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine reveals a silky texture and fine structure, with delicate and well-integrated tannins. The acidity is lively and balanced, contributing to an elegant and harmonious sip. Fruit flavors mix with earthy and mineral notes, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a sensation of refinement and depth.

Ideal in combination with delicate dishes based on meat, poultry, mushrooms and soft cheeses, Volnay by Domaine Chanson is an excellent choice for lovers of Burgundian wines who appreciate the finesse and elegance of Pinot Noir, with its ability to clearly express the terroir of origin.
