On the palate it confirms the aromatic promise with a rounded entry, a silky texture and a restrained warmth that supports rather than overwhelms. The finish is pleasant, slightly spicy at the end without becoming dominant; it’s a whisky suited both to solitary contemplation and to small pairings: it pairs with dark chocolate, medium-aged cheeses or caramel-based desserts.
