The finish is pleasant, with smoky returns and a slightly herbal trail that invites another sip. It can be enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open the aromas; for pairings it stands up well to aged cheeses, smoked meats or a square of dark chocolate. Elegant and well-balanced, it’s a whisky to be sipped slowly to better appreciate its details and harmony.

Distillation
Pot stills (wash still and spirit still) - typical process for Scottish single malt.
Ageing
Maturation mainly in sherry-seasoned oak casks (including Oloroso), with additional use of ex-bourbon American oak casks and refill casks to balance the aromas.
