Il Templeton Midnight Rye è un'espressione intrigante e notturna del classico rye whiskey. A rendere unico questo distillato è l’affinamento finale in botti che hanno precedentemente contenuto vino da dessert californiano, che arricchisce la struttura della segale con note sorprendenti.
Il risultato è un whiskey opulento e seducente, con aromi di frutti rossi maturi, cioccolato fondente e vaniglia, bilanciati dalla tipica speziatura del rye. Il sorso è setoso e avvolgente, con una dolcezza integrata che evolve verso un finale lungo, elegante, con richiami a uva passa, fichi secchi e spezie dolci.
Un rye da meditazione, perfetto per la sera, ideale da degustare liscio in un bicchiere a tulipano, magari con un buon sigaro.
