Winery history Guido Berlucchi

The winery was born from the meeting of Guido Berlucchi and oenologist Franco Ziliani. The company was established in the 1950s, and the experiment that led to the production of the first Franciacorta took place in 1961. Today the estate is managed by the Ziliani family, and the winery retains historic areas open to visitors, connected to the vocation of the Franciacorta region.

Production philosophy

Strong commitment to quality in the Traditional Method: grape selection, attention to terroir and sustainable vineyard practices. The producer reports vineyard mapping projects and sustainability initiatives; according to public information, the estate's vineyards have been certified organic since 2016.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in Borgonato, in the heart of Franciacorta, with its historic seat at Palazzo Lana and historic underground cellars. The area is characterized by the climate of Lake Iseo and morainic soils that favor grape varieties used for classic-method sparkling wines.

Awards and recognitions

Berlucchi's labels have received numerous national and international recognitions. The winery publishes a dedicated awards section with up-to-date lists for each wine.
