Production is linked to the historic Burlotto family of Verduno. In recent years Gian Carlo Burlotto has taken over the family winery and part of its vineyards and, together with the next generation, has relaunched production under the commercial identity "Cantina Massara" and labels bearing his name. The winery maintains a strong connection to the local Barolo tradition and to the historic vineyards of the area.
Production philosophy
The approach highlights the connection to Verduno and the local winemaking tradition: wines that aim for a balance between aromas and structure, respecting classic winemaking methods and the expression of each cru.

Headquarters and vineyards in the municipality of Verduno. The portfolio includes Barolo produced from Nebbiolo from Verduno crus, grown on the area's typical clay/marl soils; it also features wines from other appellations typical of the Langhe.
