Winery history Château Beauregard

The company's origins date back to the medieval period linked to the Order of the Knights Hospitaller; the current residence, built in the Napoleonic era to a design by a pupil of Victor Louis, was later converted into a wine estate. In 2014 the Moulin and Cathiard families acquired the estate and undertook renovation and modernization of the facilities, revitalizing production and enhancing hospitality at the property.

Production philosophy

A commitment to showcasing the terroir and quality: vineyard practices that respect biodiversity and parcel-by-parcel management, high planting density and precise winemaking in renovated facilities (including a gravity-fed cuvier). The estate declares organic management of the vineyards and a targeted approach to agronomic sustainability.

Terroir and vineyards

Located on the southeast edge of the Pomerol plateau, the soil is predominantly gravelly with clay and sand; the vineyard is divided into numerous crus managed individually. The property lies in the heart of the Pomerol appellation, near Saint-Émilion.
