Domaine Hubert Brochard traces its origins to 1900 in Chavignol. Aimée and Hubert Brochard began the family business, which was carried on by subsequent generations.

Production philosophy

The Domaine highlights the diversity of Sancerre’s plots and terroirs. Cellar work is intended to enhance each plot’s expression and let the terroir speak.

Terroir and vineyards

The Domaine is rooted in Chavignol and works with plots across Sancerre’s terroirs. The Château de Thauvenay cuvée comes from the deep clay-limestone soils of Terres Blanches, above the Loire and opposite Pouilly.
