Winery Domaine Yvon & Laurent Vocoret

The Vocoret family has been involved in viticulture in Maligny since the early decades of the 18th century; the official website cites the early 1700s. Several family members currently run the estate and pass practices and knowledge down through the generations.

Practices focused on soil conservation and quality: targeted protection, long-established organic inputs and a gradual reduction in herbicides and chemical treatments. Vineyard work aimed at preserving the identity of the vintage and winemaking methods designed to preserve the freshness and characteristic minerality of the terroir.

Located in Maligny, in the Chablis district of Burgundy, with vineyards on clay-limestone soils and marls. The domaine cultivates parcels in the Petit Chablis, Chablis and Chablis Vieilles Vignes appellations, as well as premier crus such as Fourchaume and l'Homme Mort.

Recent awards and recognitions: multiple gold medals at the Concours Mondial des Féminalise 2025; awards at the Concours International de Lyon 2025; and a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole 2026 for the Petit Chablis 2024, as reported on the domaine's website.
