Winery history Ferruccio Carlotto

The Carlotto family has been growing vines for three generations. The family's viticultural activity has historical roots, and in-house winemaking began in 2000 when Ferruccio, together with his daughter Michela, started producing wine from the estate's grapes. The vineyards include very old vines alongside more recent plantings.

Production philosophy

The approach focuses on highlighting the local terroir: the aim is to cultivate the grape variety best suited to each site and to apply traditional vineyard and cellar practices to preserve the terroir’s characteristics in the wines.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located between Mazzon and the Ora/Auer area, where some vineyards grow on the alluvial soils of the Rio Nero. Differences in soil and exposure are used to achieve distinct expressions of the cultivated grape varieties.
