Winery Cantina delle Vigne di Piero Mancini

The winery was founded through the dedication of Piero Mancini, who established the estate and guided its development until his passing. The company has been operating since 1989 and is now run by the Mancini family, who continue to produce and promote wines linked to the Gallura region.

Territory-focused production: wines that express the characteristics of Gallura’s granite soils. The company’s approach emphasizes family continuity, the promotion of the local Vermentino and the expansion of the range with sparkling and terroir-driven wines, combining tradition and winemaking technology.

The vineyards are located in Gallura, in the north-eastern corner of Sardinia, including estates such as Tenuta di Balajana. The area is characterized by granitic soils, the Mistral wind and a microclimate favorable to Vermentino; cited vineyard sites include Balajana, Scolombrino, Montelitu and Ciabattu.

Numerous national and international accolades: among the awards the winery has received are Douja D'Or, Berlin Wein Trophy, recognitions at the Mostra Nazionale Vini di Pramaggiore, Oscar Gambero Rosso and Sakura Awards, as well as mentions such as Grappolo d'Oro.
