Il Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC BIO Don Giovanni di Buccicatino è un vino rosso biologico che esprime magnificamente il carattere ricco e vibrante dell'Abruzzo. Realizzato con uve Montepulciano coltivate secondo i principi dell'agricoltura biologica, questo vino mostra un profondo rispetto per l'ambiente e per la tradizione vitivinicola della regione.

Al primo sguardo, sorprende per il suo colore rosso rubino con riflessi violacei, segno di una giovinezza vibrante. Al naso, il Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Don Giovanni offre un bouquet complesso e avvolgente, con note dominanti di frutti rossi maturi come ciliegia e prugna, seguite da sfumature speziate di pepe nero e tocchi balsamici. L'invecchiamento in botti di rovere aggiunge eleganti accenti di vaniglia e cioccolato.

Winery history
The winery developed from the 1990s as a family-run business; official records cite 1993 as the start of operations, and the next generation has consolidated production, steering it toward quality wines and organic ranges.
Production philosophy
The estate favors cultivation and winemaking methods that respect the terroir: low‑impact practices, hand‑harvesting and close attention to grape quality to emphasize its identity.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the Teatine Hills, on predominantly clayey, pebbly soils with a south-facing exposure. The vines are planted at elevations of approximately 150–300 metres above sea level and are distributed between the municipalities of Vacri and Bucchianico.
