The exclusive use of hand-picked Chardonnay grapes contributes to the wine's expressiveness, emphasizing fruity and floral notes that harmoniously integrate with hints of fresh bread and yeast, typical of the long aging on the lees.

Presented in Magnum format, the Franciacorta Satèn by Le Cantorie offers a more intense and prolonged tasting experience, ideal for special occasions.

On the palate, the Franciacorta Satèn DOCG stands out for its extraordinary softness and impeccable taste balance. The acidity is well balanced by the creaminess of the bubbles, creating a velvety sensation that lingers in the long and pleasant aftertaste.

Serve at a temperature of 6-8°C to fully appreciate its complexity and freshness. It is an ideal wine to accompany delicate appetizers, fish dishes, or as an aperitif. Its presentation in Magnum also makes it a great impactful gift for enthusiasts of quality sparkling wines.

The winery

Le Cantorie – Winery in Lombardia

Discover the story and wines of Le Cantorie.

A family-run winery on Franciacorta's eastern edge (the hamlet of Casaglio, Gussago), specializing in Franciacorta DOCG and still wines typical of the area.
Region: Lombardia
Country: Italia
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Barbera, Marzemino, Incrocio Terzi, Schiava Gentile, Cabernet, Merlot
A winery perched on Casaglio Hill, in the heart of eastern Franciacorta. Production focused on Franciacorta DOCG with extended maturation on the lees. Family-run management with a strong emphasis on women's involvement in hospitality and production. Estate-owned hillside vineyards with favourable exposures between Gussago and Cellatica. The range includes Satèn, Brut, Rosé, Nature and reserve wines, as well as local red wines.
Winery history
The winery was founded and has grown as a family-run business led by the Bontempi family. The name Le Cantorie comes from the local dialect and evokes the song of the cicadas that enlivens the hillside. Over generations the estate has converted and outfitted its historic spaces, combining local heritage with modern production interventions and techniques.
Production philosophy
The estate declares a strong connection to the territory: it cultivates only estate-owned hillside vineyards, prioritizes quality in the vineyard and applies cellar practices aimed at enhancing the expression of the terroir. For its Franciacorta it favors long aging periods and the use of the traditional method; at the same time it highlights local red wines through reserves and selections.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on terraced slopes between Gussago and Cellatica, in eastern Franciacorta: calcareous-clay soils, a marked diurnal temperature range, predominantly south-facing exposure and constant ventilation characterize the area and influence both the base wines for sparkling production and local reds such as Cellatica.
