The Bourgogne Blanc "Retour des Flandres" by Régnard is a white wine that expresses the richness and finesse of Burgundian Chardonnay, with a tribute to the history and tradition of the region and the Régnard house. This wine takes its name from a historical episode linking Burgundy to Flanders, reflecting the importance of the wine trade and cultural relations in European history.

House Régnard, one of the oldest and most respected wineries in Burgundy, is known for its dedication to quality and the faithful representation of terroir in its wines. The "Retour des Flandres" is positioned as a distinctive exemplar of their savoir-faire, offering a wine that combines tradition and modernity.

Produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes, grown in Burgundy vineyards that benefit from a unique terroir, characterized by limestone and clay soils, this wine reflects the pure expression of the grape variety, enhanced by careful viticultural and vinicultural practices. Winemaking is aimed at preserving the freshness and aroma of the grapes, with fermentation and aging that may include a measured use of oak barriques to add complexity and structure without overpowering the naturalness of the fruit.

In appearance, the Bourgogne Blanc "Retour des Flandres" has a light and bright straw yellow color. On the nose, it offers an aromatic bouquet that ranges from notes of white pulp fruit, such as apple and pear, to nuances of white flowers and a light mineral vein, typical of the expression of Chardonnay in Burgundy. The use of wood is well integrated, providing vanilla and toasted accents that enrich the olfactory profile without dominating.

In the mouth, the wine is fresh and balanced, with a nice acidity that supports its structure and favors immediate drinkability. The flavor palette refers to the olfactory sensations, with a purity of fruit that blends with a delicate minerality and notes of butter and sweet spices in the finish.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light starters, fish dishes, seafood or goat's cheese, the Bourgogne Blanc "Retour des Flandres" by Régnard is an excellent choice for those looking for a wine that expresses the elegance and typicality of the Chardonnay from Burgundy, enriched by a history and heritage that adds depth to its tasting.
