Cardinal Mendoza is a Spanish Brandy considered one of the most important, produced by a company founded in 1781, which at first only produced Sherry.

A distillate in homage to Cardinal Mendoza, a real historical figure who was born in Guadalajara, an important role in the reconquest of Granada, as well as in the expedition of Christopher Columbus. It is aged in ex Sherry oak barrels with the Solera Method.

In the glass it shows a dark mahogany colour; on the nose there are marked aromas of coffee beans, with aromatic aromas of cinnamon and cloves, as well as sweet fruity hints of cherry and plum jam accompanied by light hints of cocoa. The taste is decidedly soft and delicate, with toasted rivulets of hazelnut and a hint of molasses. Excellent balance between roundness and aroma; persistence on the palate long and full of toasted and spicy notes.

An excellent product for those who want to get closer to the category by spending the right amount.
