The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva is the fruit of the Montepulciano grapes of the splendid Abruzzo hills, where the soil and the best climatic conditions are found, which allow this wine to express all its qualities in the best possible way.
The fermentation takes place in stainless steel, and the long maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature. This is followed by 12 months refinement in stainless steel tanks and 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Before being put on the market, at least 24 months must elapse from the date of vinification.
A wine that immediately enchants to the eye for its intense ruby red color with violet reflections and garnet hues. The large bouquet offers intense and fruity aromas of ripe red fruit pleasantly mixed with delicate spicy hints and on the finish nuances of licorice and berries.
An elegant red with excellent structure that immediately wins over when tasted. A quality drink, well balanced and persistent in the mouth, excellent in combination with platters of cured meats and well-aged cheeses, first courses with meat sauces, roasts, game and legume soups. A glass that also lends itself well to being tasted alone to fully enjoy its flavor.
