Rum Black Spiced Kraken is a Caribbean rum produced in a very particular version on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. An absolutely unusual process that gives life to a real rarity, in fact the sugar cane distillate is flavored with spices and natural ingredients that embellish the classic taste of Rum with elegant aromatic notes.

This creative and original version of this famous Caribbean distillate is particularly suitable for making cocktails with a surprising taste. Black Spiced has carved out an important space for itself in the panorama of Caribbean Rum due to its absolutely unconventional face. It is a modern interpretation of the famous distillate that was launched about ten years ago. The Caribbean rum manufacturer of Trinidad and Tobato, Kraken Company, created this recipe inspired by the old customs of the pirates of the Caribbean, who often flavored rum with spices to soften its taste.

The Black Spiced produced by Kraken Company is an unconventional rum, of great charm and complexity; its realization starts from a top quality sugar cane molasses to which 11 different spices are added, including cinnamon, ginger, coffee and cloves. The Rum matures for a period ranging from 12 to 24 placed in oak barrels.

In the glass it shows an intense and very dark amber color. On the nose it offers particularly intense and complex aromas, ranging from soft spices to ginger, from the bitter sweetness of caramel to notes of dark chocolate, from bitter cocoa and coffee to black pepper. On the palate it is rich and warm, very soft, with a seductive and extraordinary aromatic richness and persistence.
