Tokaji Oremus Aszu 6 Puttonyos is a sweet wine originally from Hungary. Aszù is a symbol of tradition, innovation and excellence, a sublime wine with roots in an unrepeatable land. This delicious nectar can only be developed in years of excellent harvests, when nature provides favorable climatic conditions for the development of the noble rot. The vines are from Furmint and Hárslevelü.

I 6 puttonyos it refers to the number of baskets (called Puttonyos) of Aszú grapes (the grapes attacked by the “botrytisdi” or noble rot), with a capacity of 25 kg mixed in the tanks with 136 liters of conventional, slow-fermented white wine.

It has a bright golden color with dense and sinuous lines. Clear notes of honey arrive on the clear nose, but also reminiscent of citrus fruits, mainly mandarin, with fruity hints of fish and pear. Legacies of pastry and cinnamon.

In the mouth, the first unexpected perception is a marked acidity, which contrasts with the sweetness of the wine, a very nice whole, with persistent and intense intensity. A vague memory of sweet quince.

A great meditation wine, as an aperitif, appetizers and desserts.
