The Divinotello Rosso Trevenezie IGT, produced by the I Magredi winery, represents an illustrious example of the viticulture from northeastern Italy. This red wine is made from a meticulous selection of grapes grown in the fertile plains of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, a geographical area known for its rich winemaking tradition and diverse terroir.

Characterized by an intense ruby red color, the Divinotello Rosso presents a complex and enveloping bouquet on the nose. The initial olfactory impact reveals notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with a slight hint of blackberry, enriched by elegant spicy touches and a subtle sensation of vanilla, a result of careful aging in wood.

On the palate, the wine is structured and well-balanced. The entry is smooth, followed by a pleasant acidity that helps maintain a fresh taste profile. The tannins are fine and well-integrated, making this red pleasantly accessible from the early years of bottling while retaining a good aging potential.

Ideal for accompanying red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, the Divinotello Rosso Trevenezie IGT is also perfect for savoring on its own as a meditation wine.

In conclusion, the Divinotello Rosso by I Magredi is a wine that narrates the passion and expertise of a winery that has successfully combined modern winemaking techniques with respect for local traditions, offering a high-quality product that expresses the authenticity and character of its territory.

Winery history
The estate has long been linked to the Tombacco family: Otello Tombacco purchased it in 1968 and, in the late 1980s, Michelangelo Tombacco converted the mainly fruit-growing enterprise into a fully fledged winery. The first part of the cellar was constructed in 1990, and the facilities were expanded and modernized several times; since 2018 the site has been undertaking a project for a new production building. In March 2026 the estate was returned to the full control of Valdo Spumanti, which had already held a stake since 2018.
Production philosophy
The winery adopts an approach that combines tradition and innovation: a focus on quality, respect for the land and attention to environmental sustainability. In the vineyard, integrated pest management protocols are applied, and the company has invested in systems for energy production and in winery wastewater treatment.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the Grave del Friuli, characterized by coarse alluvial soils and wide stretches of pebbles known as 'magredi'. This terroir, protected in many areas as a Special Area of Conservation, fosters pronounced diurnal temperature variation and the aromatic grapes typical of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
