The Barbera d'Alba DOC by Rizzi is a red wine that captures the essence of the Piedmontese territory with elegance and intensity. Produced by the renowned Rizzi winery, this wine is the result of a meticulous selection of Barbera grapes, harvested in vineyards located in the heart of the Alba region, famous for its clayey and calcareous soils that impart a particular structure and complexity to the wine.

The Barbera d'Alba DOC by Rizzi appears with an intense ruby red color, often with violet reflections that reveal the youthfulness of the wine. On the nose, it offers a rich bouquet of aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, enriched by spicy and slightly vanillin notes, thanks to the aging in wood that the wine undergoes for several months.

On the palate, the Barbera d'Alba DOC by Rizzi is vigorous and well-structured, with a lively acidity typical of the Barbera variety that brings freshness to the palate. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, leading to a pleasantly long and persistent finish. This structure makes the wine ideal for pairing with a wide range of dishes, from hearty appetizers to red meats and aged cheeses.

The production of this wine following traditional methods and respect for the terroir is reflected in every sip, offering an authentic and quality experience. The Barbera d'Alba DOC by Rizzi is an excellent choice for lovers of Piedmontese wines who are looking for a product with character and a strong territorial identity. I personally recommend tasting it at a temperature of about 16-18°C to fully appreciate its qualities.
