The Franciacorta Satèn DOCG by Contadi Castaldi is a sparkling wine of extraordinary elegance and refinement, a true gem of Lombardy. This wine presents itself with a pale straw yellow color, enriched by a fine and persistent perlage that invites tasting.

Produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, the cuvée for Franciacorta Satèn DOCG matures for at least 24 months on the lees in the cellar before disgorging. This prolonged aging process endows the wine with a surprising aromatic complexity, featuring notes of green apple, citrus, white peach, and slight hints of almond, complemented by a background of fresh bread and fine yeast.

On the palate, the Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta Satèn reveals itself as soft and creamy, thanks to its reduced pressure which does not exceed 5 atmospheres, a distinctive characteristic of Satèn wines. The acidity is well balanced and harmoniously blends with the freshness of the fruit, leading to a long and pleasantly silky finish.

This wine is perfect as an aperitif, but its versatility also makes it suitable for pairing with light appetizers, fish, and seafood dishes. It is an excellent choice to accompany a special evening or an elegant event.

The elegant case in which the Franciacorta Satèn DOCG by Contadi Castaldi is presented also makes it a classy gift for any wine enthusiast or to celebrate important moments.
