Ableforth's Bathtub Old Tom Gin represents an exquisite reinterpretation of the traditional Old Tom style, a slightly sweetened gin that was very popular in the 18th century. This product is made through an artisanal distillation process with "cold-compounding" infusion, characterized by the use of a variety of natural botanicals including juniper, coriander, cinnamon, cloves, and citrus peels.

This gin differs from the classic London Dry due to its subtle sweetness, highlighted by the addition of a pinch of sugar, which enhances its smoothness without overwhelming the complex balance of spices and herbs. The bottle, hand-wrapped in brown paper with twine and wax, evokes the Victorian era and emphasizes the artisanal approach to production.

On the palate, Ableforth's Bathtub Old Tom Gin is rich and spicy, with clear notes of juniper and a sweet, aromatic background given by orange and cinnamon. The finish is clean and fresh, leaving a pleasant sensation of spiced warmth.

This gin is wonderfully suited for enjoyment in a classic Martinez or Tom Collins cocktail, but is also exceptionally pleasant to sip neat, perhaps accompanied by a slice of lemon or orange to further enhance its rich flavors.

Ableforth's Bathtub Old Tom Gin is not just a high-quality distillate, but also a tribute to the history of gin, ideal for lovers of this spirit who are looking for a sweeter and spicier version, perfect for enriching their collection.
