The Sauvignon IGT Tre Venezie from Pietra Di Piera Martellozzo represents an excellent example of how the territory of the Venezie can express the best potential of this French-origin grape variety. Characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, this wine reflects the freshness and vivacity that Sauvignon is capable of offering.

On the nose, the Sauvignon IGT Tre Venezie by Piera Martellozzo opens with an intensely fruity and floral aromatic bouquet. Notes of white peach, green apple and a hint of citrus blend with more delicate hints of wildflowers, creating an appealing and pleasantly complex olfactory profile.

On the palate, the wine is fresh and well-balanced, with a juicy acidity that supports the fruity notes perceived on the nose. The palate is clean, with a pleasant minerality and a slight herbaceous note typical of Sauvignon, adding depth and persistence to the sip.

Ideal as an aperitif, the Sauvignon IGT Tre Venezie from Pietra Di Piera Martellozzo pairs beautifully with fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses. It is also perfect for enhancing light vegetarian dishes and salads dressed with aromatic herbs.

This wine encapsulates not only the typical qualities of the Sauvignon grape but also the uniqueness of the Tre Venezie terroir, making it a valuable addition to any selection of white wines aimed at consumers seeking freshness, elegance, and drinkability.

Winery history
The company’s history dates back to the late 19th century, with the first generation of the Martellozzo family active in 1899 in the province of Padua. In the 1990s Piera, of the third generation, took the helm of the business, began re-evaluating indigenous grape varieties and launched its first organic line. In the early 2000s the headquarters were consolidated in San Quirino, in the Friuli Grave area, serving as the starting point for expansion into national and international markets.
Production philosophy
The estate combines respect for the land with an innovative approach: careful selection of well‑suited vineyard parcels, the production of wines that reflect the local territory, and a focus on sustainable practices through measures such as photovoltaic systems, lightweight packaging, water reuse and careful selection of label materials.
Terroir and vineyards
Primarily operating in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with ties to the Triveneto region; the wines are an expression of gravelly soils and a microclimate tempered by the Adriatic and sheltered by the mountains to the north.
