A young red, blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The vineyards are cultivated in a hilly position, at about 200 m above sea level with different exposures, on silty and clay-poor soils. The grapes are harvested manually between the end of September and the beginning of October; the bunches are destemmed and delicately pressed in the cellar, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and maceration on the skins for about 15 days. It will then undergo racking and pressing, and will remain in aging for at least 5 months, always in steel.
When poured, it shows a brilliant ruby red color with light violet hues. The olfactory profile offers intense scents of berries, raspberries, cassis, black cherries and blackberries, amalgamated with floral aromas of red flowers and balsamic notes reminiscent of mint and eucalyptus. The sip is enveloping and intense, fresh and sapid, with a persistent finish that is very pleasant on the palate.
An extremely balanced wine, particularly suitable in the most varied situations, excellent to accompany first and second courses of meat and cheese.
