The Megonio by Librandi is a wine that celebrates the richness and diversity of the Calabrian terroir, using Monterosso grapes from well-tended vineyards in the region. Calabria is renowned for its ideal climate for viticulture, where generous sunlight and the moderate influence of the Mediterranean Sea contribute to excellent grape ripening.

The Jeroboam bottle, with a size of 3 liters, is an impressive presentation of this extraordinary Rosso IGT, perfect for special occasions or as a centerpiece in a wine collection. Intensely ruby red in color, the Megonio reveals complex notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices like vanilla, and nuances of tobacco and leather on the nose, the result of careful aging in barriques.

On the palate, the wine is robust and full, with a well-balanced tannic structure that promises good aging potential. Flavors of blackberry, cherry, and a slight hint of black pepper blend into a long and persistent finish. Megonio is an emblematic example of how Calabrian wines can offer a rich and fully satisfying tasting experience while maintaining a distinctive character.

Perfect for accompanying elaborate red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses, Megonio by Librandi is a wine that never fails to impress, both in format and intrinsic quality. Enjoy it at a temperature of around 18°C to best appreciate its complexity and depth.
