The "Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Millesimato - Farnè 430" by La Riva represents a masterpiece of winemaking, a result of skilled grape selection and refined production techniques. This sparkling wine is produced following the rigorous Traditional Method, meaning the second fermentation occurs directly inside the bottle, a process that ensures complexity and sophistication to the wine.

The "Farnè 430" is a vintage, which means that all the grapes used are sourced from the same year, chosen for its exceptional climatic conditions that imbue the wine with unique and unrepeatable characteristics. This meticulous attention to detail is reflected in the quality and expression of the final product: a sparkling wine with fine and persistent bubbles, captivating at first glance.

On the nose, the "Farnè 430" reveals an intriguing bouquet, with notes of fresh fruit such as green apple and lemon, enriched by nuances of yeast and toasted bread due to the long maturation period on the lees. The palate is elegant and fresh, with a vibrant acidity that balances its structure and leads to a clean and persistent finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, this sparkling wine pairs beautifully with light starters, seafood, and fish-based dishes. Moreover, its refinement makes it perfect for celebrating special moments and significant toasts. With the "Farnè 430" by La Riva, every sip becomes an opportunity to savor the excellence of a meticulously crafted and distinctly Italian product.

Winery history
Tenuta La Riva was founded as a family project, driven by Alberto's passion and the tradition of several generations. The estate has grown steadily, focusing on bottle refermentation and the promotion of local grape varieties such as Pignoletto and Trebbiano Modenese, with the family involved in every stage from vineyard to cellar.
Production philosophy
The winery favors refermentation in bottle and a low-intervention winemaking approach: organic farming, low use of sulfites and techniques that respect the land and health. For sparkling wines they practice long periods of lees contact and perform disgorgements à la volée for low- or no-dosage wines.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate, located in the Colli Bolognesi at Castello di Serravalle, is surrounded by the characteristic calanchi of the Emilian Apennines and lies about half an hour from Bologna. It cultivates indigenous and international grape varieties suited to the hilly terrain.
