Augustiner Oktoberferst is a unique specialty that is served exclusively at the festival of the same name in Munich; tapped directly from wooden barrels. Augustiner-Bräu is one of the many breweries that is allowed to participate in the Oktoberfest and does so with this celebratory beer with a clear golden color.

Born in the 14th century by brothers of the Augustinian order, it is one of the best known and most appreciated of the superior quality beers. Many connoisseurs, Oktoberfest veterans, consider it the best beer at the fair.

White foam, fine, medium persistence. Floral scents of chamomile rise to the nose, sweet notes of honey, aromas of yeast and wheat with hints of citrus and noble hops. Quite carbonated, medium-bodied but with a watery texture that offers excellent drinkability.

In the mouth it gives a pleasant taste of bread crust and honey; it is not a dry beer on the contrary, the palate always remains a little "sticky" and tied to the next sip. In the finish comes a slight bittering herbaceous note; the aftertaste is malt, warmed by a faint alcoholic note.

Excellent to sip as an aperitif or in goliardic moments in combination with pizza or hamburgers.
