The Recioto Classico della Valpolicella DOCG from Begali winery is a wine with a unique aromatic profile that enchants true enthusiasts. Produced in the renowned Valpolicella region, this sweet wine stands out for its extraordinary complexity and the elegance of its aromas.

For the Recioto from Cantina Begali to reach its perfect expression, the grapes are left to wither on special "arelle," allowing for a natural concentration of sugars and aromas. This process, known as appassimento, takes months during which the harvested grapes, predominantly Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, lose part of their water and gain in aromatic intensity.

The color of the Recioto Classico della Valpolicella DOCG is a deep ruby red that tends to garnet with aging. On the nose, it manages to amaze with a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, enriched by spicy notes and a hint of chocolate. On the palate, the sweetness is well balanced by the acidity, which keeps the wine lively and pleasantly fresh, despite its decidedly sweet character.

Typically served as a meditation wine or paired with chocolate desserts, aged cheeses, or fine pastries, the Recioto from Begali is also magnificent when enjoyed with foie gras. Its aging potential allows it to evolve wonderfully, becoming even more harmonious and refined over the years.

A true gem of Valpolicella, this Recioto is a must for those who wish to discover Italian winemaking tradition through one of its most prized and appreciated examples.
