Barolo DOCG - Sarmassa Vigna Bricco - Brezza is a wine of exceptional quality and representativeness, produced by the historic Brezza winery, located in Barolo, in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe. This winery, founded in 1885 and managed today by the fourth generation of the Brezza family, is renowned for its dedication to sustainable viticulture and the production of wines that faithfully express the character and uniqueness of their terroir of origin.

The Vigna Bricco, located within the renowned MGA (Additional Geographical Mention) Sarmassa, is particularly appreciated for its rich soil and its favorable exposure, which allow it to obtain high quality Nebbiolo grapes. Barolo Sarmassa Vigna Bricco expresses the full potential of this terroir, resulting in a wine of great structure, complexity and longevity.

At sight, the wine has a deep garnet red color, with orange nuances that develop with aging. On the nose, it opens with a complex and articulated bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits emerge, such as cherries and plums, together with hints of dried rose, spices, tobacco and a light mineral vein, a distinctive sign of Sarmassa.

In the mouth, the Barolo Sarmassa Vigna Bricco di Brezza reveals an elegant tannic structure, well integrated with the natural acidity of the Nebbiolo. The flavors are consistent with the olfactory sensations, evolving towards a long and persistent finish, characterized by a notable aromatic complexity and an aftertaste that invites reflection.

This Barolo is ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as roast meats, truffle-based dishes, game and mature cheeses. With its aging potential, Sarmassa Vigna Bricco also lends itself to being kept in the cellar, where it can evolve and enrich itself with new nuances over the years.
