The Barolo DOCG "Bricco delle Viole" by Mario Marengo is an expression of excellence of the Nebbiolo grape, coming from one of the most prestigious and characteristic crus of Barolo, the Bricco delle Viole. This area is renowned for its particular exposure and soil rich in calcareous marl, which give the wine an extraordinary elegance and aromatic depth. The Mario Marengo winery, faithful to the Piedmontese winemaking tradition, produces this Barolo with great care and attention, resulting in a wine that is a true tribute to the Langhe land.

The "Bricco delle Viole" has a brilliant garnet red color, tending towards orange with ageing. On the nose, the wine releases an intense and complex aroma, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, enriched by nuances of rose, violet, spices, tobacco and a light touch of leather. These olfactory characteristics are typical of high quality Nebbiolo and are further enhanced by the specificity of the Bricco delle Viole terroir.

In the mouth, Barolo "Bricco delle Viole" reveals a solid and at the same time elegant structure, with fine but persistent tannins that integrate well with the typical acidity of Nebbiolo, giving the wine a long life and notable aging potential. The finish is long and persistent, with a return of floral and fruity notes, enriched by a pleasant minerality that leaves the palate clean and satisfied.

Ideal in combination with rich and tasty dishes, such as red meats, game, mushroom dishes and mature cheeses, Barolo "Bricco delle Viole" is also an excellent meditation wine, to be savored slowly to grasp all its nuances.
