The extra virgin olive oil of the Librandi Calabrian winery is born in Casaneto, Cirò Marina, Rocca di Neto from olives produced from Calabrian cultivars: Carolea 50%, Frantoio 20%, Tonda Strongolese 20%, Leccino 10%.
The harvest is done manually, between October and November; the olives are cold pressed within 3 hours. The oil mill, which is located in a brand new building adjacent to the cellar and fully functional since the 2005 campaign, is equipped with the most modern technologies, with an Alfa Laval continuous cycle system for cold pressing.
The result obtained is a quality extra virgin olive oil that is extremely pleasant on the palate. It has a low acidity, a rather intense and at the same time soft flavor, and a particularly fruity taste softened by a particular spicy note.
